Golden Movers

Golden movers is the worst moving company I have dealt with. They placed items on top of my treasured antique table and broke all the legs off of it, totally destroying it. It cannot be repaired back to antique status. They also lost an antique chair of mine which matches a couch. I had insurance, but Katie the office manager informed me that it was null & void because I didn't file my claim soon enough by filling out the forms. I came to the office & gave the owner a written statement of the damages after it happened. I wasn't told about any form. Golden Movers totally walked away from this and didn't stand by their mistake.

I used Golden Movers for my move from Tampa to San Francisco in May 2017 and they performed perfectly. They moved us out of our apartment in April, then stored our things until we found a place in California. Then they delivered everything to our new place. Their price is very competitive and their employees are top-notch. They use only their own employees--they don't every hire local daily labor. They use their own trucks, too. They don't "hand off" to another carrier. Often, the same guys that load the truck in one city will be the ones unloading on the other end
I formerly had a move management service where I helped seniors when they needed to downsize out of their home into a senior community. In that business, I used Golden Movers almost exclusively (except when they did not have availability, which was rare). Every move was handled professionally. They wrap every furniture item in blankets. The office staff is so easy to work with.
They are awesome!
